Diagnostic Study In order to determine the sources and magnitude of pollutants to a lake, a diagnostic study is conducted. Based on monitoring and evaluation of watershed data, pollutant sources are identified and ranked. Computer modeling if often conducted to evaluate existing conditions and predict future condition under various scenarios. Implementation Plan A plan of action for rehabilitating the lake is prepared based on the diagnostic study results.
