 Fortin Consulting is an environmental consulting firm specializing in education and action. Our mission is to provide project design and coordination which will unite citizens, environmental organizations and industry in the common goal of improving our rivers, lakes and wetlands. We can do typical classroom education and presentations, but our strength is to focus on an environmental problem, figure out who directly contributes to the problem and then work with them to change their practices.
The majority of FCI work focuses on protecting or improving water quality of lakes, rivers, wetlands and groundwater. In our education efforts we have worked on erosion and sediment control, road salt reduction shoreline restoration, invasive species control, native plant restoration, water quality monitoring and much more. We have the ability to think through a project, bring together the necessary people, funding, materials and permits or whatever it takes to start, implement and complete the project. With all of our projects we put a burst of positive energy and fun into them. We have an excellent reputation in the industry.
